Perform puja for over 20 Gods on your mobile device just like in a Hindu temple. Bring your puja accessories and God idols with you wherever you go.
Developed by the creators of the renowned OM Meditation app, this practical tool showcases a wide range of popular Hindu Gods and temple deities from India. In case your preferred deity or saint is missing, you have the option to easily upload a photo and utilize all the puja functionalities. Additionally, you can include chants, mantras, prayers, or aarti audio tracks for each idol.
This application is designed to enable devotees to conduct puja rituals (pooja vidhi) similar to those in a real temple, on their mobile phones or tablets. Equipped with numerous puja accessories, it allows for creating a sacred atmosphere for meditation or offering prayers on the go.
With no requirement for actual lighting of lamps and incense sticks, even children can safely learn and engage in pujas. It proves to be an excellent companion for travelers who may not have access to temples during their journeys.
Among its extensive list of popular Hindu deities are Ganesha (Ganesh, Vinayaka), Vishnu, Shiva (Siva), Rama, Krishna, Hanuman, Saraswati, Durga, Lakshmi (Laxmi), Muruga (Kartikeya/Subramanian), Surya, Gayatri, Kali, Shani, and Dattatreya.
The application also includes details about the main deities of some renowned temples in India such as Tirupati Balaji Venkateswara, Puri Jagannath, Sabarimala Ayyappa, Mookambika Devi, Madurai Meenakshi, and Guruvayurappan.
An auto/demo puja mode is available for those who prefer to pray while simulated puja rituals are performed as if by a virtual temple pujari (priest).
Puja, also known as pooja, is a ritual prayer conducted by Hindus to host, honor, and worship one or more deities. These rituals are carried out daily at temples and Hindu households. The app provides information about the significance of Puja tasks if you are unfamiliar with them and offers basic details about each God (deity) for quick reference.
The interface is user-friendly with most functions accessible through one or two taps. Lightweight and efficient, it allows you to bring your personal puja room or favorite temples and deities with you wherever you go!
